Alicia Cervera Lamadrid, licensed real estate broker and president of Miami-based RCRS, was awarded Best Entrepreneur” in the Service Business - up to 2,500 employees category at the 2007 Stevie Awards for Women in Business, which are considered to be the Oscars of the business world.
She was one of 43 outstanding women recognized at the 4th annual awards reception an d presentation held at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas on November 12, where soap opera actress Melody Thomas served as master of ceremonies. Other prominent winners included executives from Travelocity, UPS and Care.com.
RCRS is a prominent sales and marketing firm with a client roster consisting of the top names in the real estate and hospitality industry, from W Hotels to St. Regis Resort & Residences. The firm was founded in 2000 by Cervera Lamadrid, a second generation broker whose mother is the iconic real estate maven Alicia Cervera Sr., and visionary developer Jorge Perez, CEO of The Related Group. In addition to representing most of The Related Group’s projects, the 150-person firm specializes in luxury preconstruction sales for other developers. Since its inception, RCRS has sold $6.8 billion of real estate representing more than 13,000 units around Florida.
