Miami - The Realtor® Association of Miami-Dade County welcomed the 2008 Board of Directors at its Annual Installation Luncheon held at Jungle Island on October 19, 2007.

The highly attended “Carnaval” themed event featured lively music accented by colorful stilt walkers, dancers and a Carmen Miranda look-a-like that were enjoyed by members, Affiliate Members and Community Representatives who participated in the Installation festivities.

Congratulations to the new Directors and officers that will serve the largest Real Estate Association in the State of Florida. Officers: President, Jorge Garcia-Sarraff; President-Elect, Jack H. Levine, ABR, ABRM, CRB, CRS, SRES; and Secretary-Treasurer, Rei Mesa, CRB, CRS. Directors: Manny Bouza, CRS, TRC; Armando Diaz, CIPS; Norka M. Diaz, CIPS, CRS, CRB, TRC; Sharon Clodgo, GRI; Patricia Delinois; Claudia Riva; Joanna Sherman; Victor Ulloa; and Reinaldo M. Valdes, GRI.     

As part of the installation ceremony, the Association recognized three outstanding members for their continued long term dedication and support to the Association; REALTOR® OF THE YEAR, Charlette Seidel, Coldwell Banker; EDUCATOR OF THE YEAR, Carlos Villanueva,  Prudential Florida WCI and AFFILIATE MEMBER OF THE YEAR, David Gomez, RealEstatehoy.com  

The day’s event also included the Association receiving several Proclamations from the City of Coral Gables, City of Miami, City of Hialeah, Miami-Dade County and Broward County.
