NBA star, Ricky Davis, will host a special press conference to address his new city and kick-off the Miami HEAT 20th Anniversary season with a slam dunk!  Davis will discuss his move from the Minnesota Timberwolves to the Miami HEAT and will have a message for his new hometown and a contribution to the Big Brothers Big Sisters charity with media availability to follow.


Ricky Davis, 28, is an NBA veteran who has been playing in the NBA since 1998.  Davis began with the Charlotte Hornets in 1998, followed by a brief stint with the Miami HEAT in 2000 where he injured his knee and was later sent to the Cleveland Cavaliers.  He then played for the Boston Celtics and later in early 2006 went to the Minnesota Timberwolves.  He is now back in the Magic City!

Davis is also a community service leader and fan favorite.
