Miami, FL—In anticipation of a possible hurricane making landfall in Miami, the City is urging residents NOT to place any clippings, large bulky trash or debris outside of their homes this weekend. The Department of Solid Waste may not be able to pick up Bulky Trash early next week and any items left outside may become projectiles in the event of a storm.
Should any City of Miami Resident need to dispose of any clippings or large items, they may take those items to the City of Miami Mini-Dump free of charge. The mini-dump will be open Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. The Mini-Dump is located at 1290 NW 20th Street. Proof of residence in the City of Miami is required in order to use the facility.
For up-to-date information on Solid Waste services, please remember to call 311 and also check your local media for more information.
The City of Miami Department of Solid Waste will be conducting regularly-scheduled trash, garbage and recycling pick-up on Monday until further notice. Those residents whose garbage, trash and recycling are always collected on Monday should place their items out as they usually do. Residents with questions or concerns are encouraged to call 311 |
