Miami, FL- Due to Tropical Storm Fay, the City of Miami Department of Solid Waste will not be conducting regularly-scheduled garbage and recycling pick-up on Tuesday, August 19.

Residents should be advised that if their pick-up day is on Tuesday, they should not place their garbage and recyclable items outside today, but instead place those items out on Wednesday. Solid Waste will resume regularly scheduled pick-up on Wednesday and will also take care of those residents who are typically serviced on Tuesday.

Crews will be picking up trash/bulky items as scheduled.
