Miami, FL - The City of Miami Planning Department will hold a series of public meetings to inform citizens about the Miami 21 Zoning Code and how it will affect their properties and community. As public input is crucial in the formation of the Miami 21 Zoning Code, citizens and other stakeholders are encouraged to attend and communicate their comments, questions, and concerns.
About Miami 21
The Miami 21 Zoning Code aims to provide new City regulations that are streamlined, progressive, and relevant to the needs of a changing city. New zoning regulations found in the Miami 21 Zoning Code will encourage the development of safe, vibrant, pedestrian and transit-friendly neighborhoods, by planning integrated mixed-use communities.
CONFIRMED PUBLIC MEETING SCHEDULE
Date: Monday, June 16, 2008 Location: 1300 NW 50th Street (Model City NET area) Time: 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.
Date: Tuesday, June 17, 2008 Location: Curtis Park 1901 NW 24th Avenue (Allapattah NET area) Time: 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.
These meetings are the first two out of fifteen public meetings currently being scheduled. Other upcoming meetings throughout the City will be announced as soon as locations are confirmed.
