BIO Diesel Fuel comes to Hialeah! PDF Imprimir E-mail
30.05.2008

The City of Hialeah proudly announces the grand opening of the first bio diesel gas station in the County.  The Urbieta Oil Company will celebrate the opening of its first bio diesel gas station in Hialeah as more and more companies are jumping on board the ever increasing green initiative.

To celebrate this historic occasion, Urbieta Oil will sell the E-85 Ethanol Gas for $0.85 for 85 minutes starting at 10 AM and increase one dollar every hour thereafter.  Biodiesel fuel will be sold at $3.20 all day long!

Biodiesel is the name of a clean burning alternative fuel, produced from domestic, renewable resources. Biodiesel contains no petroleum, but it can be blended at any level with petroleum diesel to create a biodiesel blend. It can be used in compression-ignition (diesel) engines with little or no modifications.

Biodiesel is simple to use, biodegradable, non-toxic and essentially free of sulfur and aromatics. Any diesel vehicle or diesel engine can run using biodiesel and NO modification is required to modern day cars, vans or trucks. Biodiesel will prolong the life of your engine as it is very lubricious and even used in very low mix percentages it can reduce engine wear substantially.

The Urbieta Oil Company was founded by Mr. Ignacio Urbieta in 1972 in South Florida and is one of the largest fuel distributors in the region and the first in retailing Ethanol and BioFuels. The Urbieta Oil Company has had BioDiesel for the last three years and is going green in the 100 plus gas stations and in their offices as well, converting to the Leeds Building Standards. Their Commercial Division moves considerable gallons of Bio Fuels through their Customer base within South Florida.
