Fifty-five pieces of historic Cuban art, currently privately owned, including that of various Cuban painters, sculptors and caricaturists, will be unveiled in the City of Hialeah's Segunda Exposicion del Arte Cubano - Amor al Arte as part of Mayor Julio Robaina's on-going efforts to enlighten and expand the City of Hialeah's Cultural Art Initiative.
The exhibit will highlight the private art collections of Hialeah residents Ester and Gustavo Orta and Roberto Blanco and features works expressing a variety of themes such as academic, vanguard and contemporary styles. At the exhibit, a 124 page catalogue featuring photographs of all the artists and their works, as well as pertinent historical documents, will be distributed. Amor al Arte will continue were the first expo, Azul, Que Te Quiero, Azul left off, paying tribute and giving homage to Cuban art history.
At this one day only exhibit, art lovers will be able to enjoy original artwork by Antonio Rodriguez Morey, Eduardo Abela, Mirta Cerra, Fidelio Ponce, Victor Manuel Garcia, Cundo Bermudez, Rene Portocarrero, Felix Ramos, Rafael Soriano, Mijares, Tony Lopez, Roberto Estopiñan, Alfredo Lozano, Enrique Gay Garcia, Hector Molne and many more!
