Economic stimulus payment Tax Fair |

Mayor Julio Robaina and the City of Hialeah Council, in partnership with the Internal Revenue Service's Miami Offic, will be offering free assistance to qualifying elderly to complete the 1040A form in order for the IRS to issue the Economic Stimulus Payment.
Assistance will be available on April 9, 2008 from 9:00am to 3:00pm at Milander Auditorium 4800 Palm Avenue. 
Persons seeking assistance must bring with them the following:
1) 1099SSA for the year 2007 (reflecting qualifying social security income, min $3000 a year)
2) Social Security Card
3) Picture ID
If documentation is not presented, assistance will not be available.
If you are only receiving SSI (Supplemental Income) or are claimed as a dependent on another family's income tax, you are not eligible to apply for the Economic Stimulus Payment.
When: Wednesday, April 9, 2008 at 9:00 a.m. through 3:00 p.m.
