26.03.2008

Belleview, FL -- At a time when other developers have halted projects, the financially robust Skyrise Development Group is forging ahead with another new project in Central Florida. Belleview Center will be a 22,295 square-foot mixed-use project on 8.7 acres at SE 67th Avenue and 441 in Belleview.

Plans include an open-air shopping center, gas station, 55-unit apartment complex, and flex space. The project will be built in phases with groundbreaking for the retail component scheduled for this summer.  Well-known tenants as well as other shopping and dining are expected to make up the tenant base. Leasing is underway with pricing for phase 1 starting at $20 per square foot.

Belleview is located in Marion County, one of the fastest growing areas in the country. Once a farming community, it is now known for its robust economy in tourism, construction and business, and boasts an affordable lifestyle and diverse activities.

“Belleview has tremendous growth potential,” said David Houri, founder and president of Skyrise Development Group.  “This project helps to fulfill the need for upscale shopping and dining in an area that is enjoying population growth due to its proximity to the Villages, the largest single-site residential development in the United States.”

Skyrise Development Group also recently completed Golf View Plaza, a 43,500 square-foot class A office building in Ocala. Other area projects include the famous World Trade Center in Downtown Orlando. Several other offices, industrial, retail and mixed-use projects are underway in Central Florida.

Skyrise Development Group has a real estate portfolio that consists of properties and holdings that span the nation and includes multi-use urban complexes, industrial developments and luxury residential buildings. Skyrise has already developed over 1.3 million square feet of leasable/sellable commercial space and residential development including Class A & B office, corporate office parks, retail centers, industrial and 1,500 residential units.

The Company's capabilities encompass financing, acquisition, development and construction. Skyrise Development Group also operates subcontracting divisions in Shanghai, China and Indore, India.
