 Miami, FL- The Realtor Association of Greater Miami and the Beaches (RAMB) has elected Kimberly A. Kirschner, CIPS of Kirschner Realty International their 2008 Chairman of the Board. She and the entire Board of Directors will be installed on February 1st at The Country Club of Coral Gables.
Kirschner, CEO of Kirschner Realty International, Inc., has served as chair of RAMBs International Council, president of RAMBs Residential Board of Governors in 1999, and also served as Chairman of the Board in 2000. She is currently a director for the National Association of Realtors (NAR), a director for the Florida Association of Realtors (FAR), and NAR Presidents Liaison to Chile.
Other national involvement: past Chair of the NAR International Forum, Member of the NAR International Operations Committee, and NAR Presidents Liaison to Spain. Additional involvement on the state level: Chair of the FAR Strategic Visioning Committee and Chair of FAR International Council.
As a prominent leader in the international real estate arena, Kirschner has served FIABCI (The International Real Estate Federation) in many capacities: former Deputy World President of the Americas, Vice-President and Board Member of FIABCI USA, among others. Additionally, she and her family have started a foundation, Willow Star Haven, for the development of elderly housing, animal sanctuaries and childrens therapy centers.
Maurice Moe J. Veissi, Veissi & Associates, Inc. will serve as RAMB President; Rick Burch, CRB, CRS, GRI, Burch & Associates International, will serve as Chairman-Elect; J.R. Steinbauer, Jr., Steinbauer Associates, Inc. will serve as Secretary; and Augusto J. Fonte, CCIM, AJF Properties, Inc., will serve as Treasurer.
