Miami-Dade State Attorney aiding new habitat for Humanity Project |

52 new homes to be built in the Scott-Carver Community Miami, FL - Miami-Dade County State Attorney Katherine Fernandez Rundle will present a check for $20,000 to Habitat for Humanity of Greater Miami during the agency’s celebration of their Hearts & Hands Blitz Build of 52 new homes this Saturday, January 26th, 2008.
The donation was made possible with fines levied against defendants who were charged by the State Attorney’s Office in several environmental and other white-collar type criminal cases.
The event is scheduled to begin at 2:00 PM at the Habitat Scott-Carver site located at NW 21st Court and 68th Terrace in Miami. Other event sponsors attending the celebration include local banking institutions, real estate agencies, government agencies, supermarkets, and houses of worship.
