Miami-Dade State Attorney to celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King Day |

Miami, FL - Miami-Dade County State Attorney Katherine Fernandez Rundle will attend a celebration in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King’s birthday on Monday, January 21st.
The event, which is being held at Dr. Martin Luther King Park located on NW 62nd Street and 32nd Avenue in Model City, includes an early morning breakfast at which the State Attorney will announce the establishment of a scholarship in memory of the late Dade County Public Schools Board Member Robert B.
Ingram for the benefit of the 5000 Role Models organization. Following the breakfast, a parade that includes State Attorney. Fernandez Rundle as well as other community leaders and dignitaries will begin from the park site.
In addition, the State Attorney’s Office “Justice in Motion” (JIM) Mobile, a 37 foot “office on wheels”, will be parked at the site to provide informational brochures on the various services and programs offered by the office and provide free child fingerprinting as well as a DNA tool for children accompanied by their parent/guardian for use by law enforcement personnel if ever necessary.
