On Wednesday, December 5th, the Chamber held its annual holiday party at Eastern Financial’s Miami Springs branch to collect items for residents of the Miami Rescue Mission Center for Women and Children. About 70 local business people attended, bringing unwrapped gifts of toys, diapers and personal grooming items. The Center is a haven for homeless women and children and provides emergency overnight shelter as well as a long-term recovery program. The 40-bed facility is located at 2250 NW 1st Avenue in Miami. |
