Real Estate Firm Attracts Montreal and Toronto Investors PDF Imprimir E-mail
11.12.2007

Miami, FL -- Genesis International Realty, a full-service sales and marketing firm based in Miami, Florida and focusing on destination markets outside the US, hosted two exclusive receptions in Montreal and Toronto last week to introduce the luxury developments it represents to the Canadian market. The Toronto reception took place at the Westin Harbor Castle in One Harbor Square. The second reception was held at the Paris I Ballroom of the Loews Hotel Vogue in Montreal.

Guests enjoyed dynamic presentations about Maioris Tower in Puerto Cancun, Jaco Bay Ramada Condominiums and Resort in Jaco Beach, Costa Rica and Maioris Pacific Tower in Panama, followed by a Q&A and cocktail party.

“Canadians are taking advantage of their strong currency to purchase in some of the most promising locations in Central America,” said Graciela Gonzalez, Genesis’ vice president of sales. “In the past three years, Cancun’s residential real estate market has grown 20% and in Panama it has grown approximately 35%. These numbers make the regions impossible to ignore especially when you consider the value you get due to the currency exchange rate.”

The Canadian trip was a logical one for Genesis, which specializes in pre-construction, resales and conversions for well established and well known developers in Cancún, Costa Rica, Panama and soon in St. Maarten. The firm prides itself on its international network of brokers and ability to tap into high entry barrier markets and recognizes the demand among buyers there.

“The event was eye opening because so much is offered in North America, but Canadians are looking for investment elsewhere so they can venture out of their comfort zones and experience new alternatives around the world,” said broker and Toronto event attendee Ron Patel.

Maioris Tower will be located in Puerto Cancun, a private city located on more than 800 acres of unspoiled oceanfront facing Isla Mujeres. Puerto Cancun will feature an 18-hole Tom Weiskopf Championship Resort Golf Course as well as a mega yacht marina with capacity for 300 boats and surrounded by a boardwalk with boutique shops, restaurants and bars. Residents will have unlimited access to the exclusive Beach Club and Yacht Club and can enjoy a host of resort amenities onsite. All 92 units in the 20-story building will boast spectacular views of the Caribbean Sea and Isla Mujeres. Two, three and four-bedroom residences are priced from $436,000 to $2.6 million.

Located in the heart of Panama City, the 33-story Maioris Pacific Tower will have 50 luxurious units in one, two, three and four-bedroom layouts, priced from $289,386 to $1 million. The well-appointed units will have views of the Pacific Ocean and the building will feature a swimming pool, bar, squash court, fitness center and spa; a business center and two covered parking spaces per unit plus guest parking.

Jaco Bay Ramada Condominiums and Resort will include seven 10-story, beautifully designed towers of 38 luxury condo units each. A 72-room Ramada Hotel of five-star amenities with four-star service will be located within a walking distance from the development. Each of the deluxe residences in the residential towers can participate in the Ramada Plaza Hotel rental program and the RCI program. The fully furnished two, three and four-bedroom units are priced from the $300s to $800s.
