Miami, FL — The 22 countries that make up Central America and the Caribbean—the ‘Third Border’ of the United States—are the largest business partners for the State of Florida. The development of regional biofuels could provide great economic benefits, reducing dependency on imported oil while creating jobs and economic opportunities.
This year, during the annual conference called A Region Poised for Growth, the assembly will have a roundtable session with a special analysis on Post-Castro Cuba. As it is widely known, Post-Castro Cuba will be characterized by the evolution of the island’s economy, which will eventually shift to a free-market model providing various opportunities to both Cubans and foreigners.
